If you’re interested in submitting your story for the upcoming book (working title) “Blud Sisters” …. here’s how!
1. First, you’ll have to sign off legally… fill out the release form available for download on this page. Please name the file YOUR-NAME-CITY-RELEASE.PDF (with your own information) when it’s sent back. Send your signed file as a PDF.
2. The second part is much more fun. Send your story of how the artist Yungblud (Dom Harrison) through music, video, interviews, books, or participation in the Blud / Black Hearts “community” has made a significant, positive and potentially inspirational change to your life. Examples: Started taking music lessons at age 40, got help for serious depression at 19, met your future spouse at a show, brought generations together and healed broken generational relationships, etc.
2. The book is completely about our personal stories of positivity. This is not a book worshipping Dom or about his story. This is about each of us and the desire that by sharing our stories of positivity and creating a loving, warm, supportive community we can help spread those things to a world (and people) more peoples lives are changed for the better.
3. Stories are preferred to be sent using Word as a .doc file. Please name the file YOUR-NAME-CITY-MYSTORY.doc when you send. On the top of your doc, please put your Full Legal Name (which will NOT be published), and the information that will be published: Your first name (or name you wish to be called), your city/town/state/country, and your age.
4. If you would prefer not to write your story but to tell it to the author, please send requests to bludsistersbook@yahoo.com so a time and date can be scheduled. Author is in the Eastern US and is willing to schedule from 10am – 10 pm EST as available. Spots are limited and will be available from now until October 30, 2025. If the date gets pushed forward it will be posted here.
5. Please note that submitting a story does not guarantee that it will be included in the book. Author and publisher reserve the right to edit and include or exclude all content. Author and publisher also reserve the right to have final approval of all content.
6. Also note that all persons submitting stories are doing so willingly and legally, that all material is original and that you have the exclusive rights. Also, everyone is donating their stories for inclusion, there is no compensation or royalties for any submittor.
7. Please note this book has nothing to do with political views, political parties, political themes, or politics in general. Stories with political themes are not able to be included.
8. Proceeds from the book will be in part donated to a vetted mental health and/or suicide prevention charity. Yet another way to continue to put good in the world.
9. We’re not sure if we’re using photos yet, but if you have a compelling photo you’d like to have considered for inclusion in the book, then please send a high resolution file (300 dpi) no smaller than 4″ x 4″ and no larger than 10″ x 10″. Please name the file YOUR-NAME-CITY-MYPIC.doc when you send. Please send pictures only of yourself, if there are other persons in the image the publisher requires a release for them as well (for example, Mother/Daughter/Grandmother at a concert would require individual releases from all three persons. Please make sure the photos are suitable for publishing – no nudity or inappropriate gestures, positions, etc. We’re keeping it super clean so the book can be read by the widest audience.
10. Kindly communicate with the author before sending an invitation to other groups to participate. Plus, this book idea will be covered under the laws of the United States in all ways, including ownership of intellectual property rights. (In other words, please don’t broadast everywhere that this book / idea is in progress because we don’t want someone to steal it!)
Thank you all for being willing to participate in what I and several of our “Blud Sisters” think is going to be an amazing book letting Dom and the world know how much we appreciate the messages of love, positivity, getting mental health help, and putting good into the world. I hope by putting these inspirational stories together we make a difference and continue to help those in need find steps to improve their own lives.
